Wine Room Manager
Bacchanal is looking for an energetic and passionate Wine Room Manager to handle the daily operations of the heart and soul of our establishment. Bacchanal is structured unlike any restaurant or bar so our staff must be inventive and adaptable, especially our managers.
A born leader, the ideal candidate will be able to manage a large staff with kindness, respect and accountability. The person in this position radiates warmth and hospitality while leading the wine room staff during the first and last interactions with all of our guests. You are not just a Sommelier, you are the Wine Whisperer.
You must have a serious passion for wine, at least 5 years experience in the wine industry as a Manager, and at least 3 years as a Sommelier or Wine Buyer. You must also have expert knowledge of wine varietals, regions and know intimately the portfolios of Louis/Dressner, Kermit Lynch and Rosenthal among others.

Knowledge of MICROS both front and back office
Proficient in Microsoft Office, (specifically spreadsheets) Google Docs
Knowledge of social media outlets a plus!
Experience
5 Years minimum of Management Experience in a Wine-Centric Restaurant
3 Years Minimum Experience Buying/Selling Wine (Sommelier Certification a Plus)
Compensation
TBD depending on experience
